As well as the Caravan Club magazine, we’ve received an free sample of Wessex Bio Blue!
It’s a natural and eco friendly odour eliminator which you simply spray on and it eliminates smells at the source. I must say that my first though on opening the box was “it smells like caravans!” and it does which is wonderful as it means I can get a fix whilst we’re not away.
(Excuse the picture, quickly taken with the tablet so that I could get it in here, I may have to change that, as I’m sure it will drive me insane!) I had to retake it, couldn’t live with such a bad pic!
Otherwise this week, nothing much has been going on apart from being without hearing since last Thursday, now on day 5, the plumber that originally fitted it came home Saturday and couldn’t work it out, a new heating contract later and the boiler has been put out of commission because the gas pressure isn’t what it should be at the boiler apparently. Wonderful. So now we have to have new gas pipework put in. Argh! #I’dratherbeinmycaravan
We discovered Overwater Marina CL
We still took the Tassimo
We visited more places, Stafford Castle.
Rob made Staffordshire oatcakes
We went here again, can you guess where it is?
We got another Kampa porch awning, a tad bigger + an annexe
It was almost the same size as Casper!
After 5 years it was now almost time to say goodbye to Casper and begin a new adventure in Sydney. He went to a local family and we pass him and wave regularly!
Jack and Jess were on their travels
Rob was hard at work at High Onn Caravan Club Site..
And he got a biofuel fire
And we might have been at Pembrey again…do you get the feeling we like it?
We hit new temperature heights
they were pooped
Some people think I wore fit flops all summer
Walked along the canal at Froghall Wharf
We got a new Kampa porch awning
With a carpet of course
November 2014, we got engaged, finally. Only took us 11 years.
And my hair was still growing
We visited Pembrey a few more times
Stayed near Whitchurch on a CL with a bathroom in a shed
Saw strange fungi
and more beautiful skies
We got new mugs one Christmas
and we moved away from Apple
We walked in the Peak Disrict
..it was flooded…
The sewing machine was out again,
The floor had been changed to laminate (I did that! – Andi)
We acquired a new gadget for our coffee
The Cobb was out again
And my hair was growing
Jack tried to dig his way to Australia when we were in Pembrey.
The Cobb made it’s debut.
We saw some stunning skies
and visited some lovely places
The dogs claimed the sofa
They investigated things on the beach
I had all my hair cut off
A little over a year later…
We were sold on the burgundy oven and matching fire
But why is the upholstery always icky?
Sewing machine to the rescue, yet again.
And he got a name and decals front and back.
The inflatable sofa was still with us, but now sported a fitted cover. New curtains for the awning.
So in April 2010, our window cleaner noticed us selling Ethelbert and said would we be interested in his caravan. Of course we went to look and what do you know, one left and one arrived, and this had a MOTOR MOVER! Oh the excitement.
First time out..I can’t remember where we went though.
Come the summer holidays we had the inflatable sofa ready.
The 2JRs had their sleeping bags all was well.
The sewing machine came out…..again.
A “fixed” bed went in, carpet was replaced in the main area…
Porch awning was added to the set up.
And the JRs joined Rob on the bed, tut!
Thanks for looking! Andi x
